This comedy is pretty average for 1947, actually it's pretty corny, and not that funny. Overall, it's okay, not good but not too bad either.

An OK Abbott & Costello movie, with some amusing sequences. The plot is nothing much, but then, why should it be? And what an amazing transformation of a broken-down bus!

With a title that is a tweak or two away from gay porn, this follow-up to 41's "Buck Privates" offers scant evidence of Abbott & Costello's greatness. No memorable dialogue-driven routines or inspired slapstick here, just a grind-it-out motion-going exercise in killing time. The sawhorse routine and the undercranked finale are really not up to snuff.
