What a dumb movie it made no sense.. A waste of time.

This isnt your usual vampire flick, nor is it a pure horror film. What you get is a very clever thriller thats filled with suspense. Its not a film that is dependent on huge spectacular special effects because the dialog and the story line in itself hold there own. The time line of the film is played out very akin to a Tarantino plot. There are frequent hints as to what is really going on and the final climatic twist is really a good one. The acting is first-class, Ken Foree giving the best performance as a captured and tortured vampire is scary and humorous at the same time. My only grievance is that I felt that Sid Haig was very much underused.

Wow. Very lame vampire flick by a great director.

was part of me and my friends' "Bad Movie Night" and this definitely lived up to that expectation... the plot was interesting, but due to budget and seemingly rushed scenes, it was just predictable, considering I predicted two of the main surprises of the movie in a very short time too... but it gets two stars for it's effort...

a very confusing film but it all comes together at the end, which is still dissappointing. one of the worst vampire movies i have ever seen. it was nice to see sid haig in the film, but he didn't do very much. its filled with gore which is nice but the overall storyline and acting is stupid and pointless.
