The movie has a direction that simply exceeds beyond the usual mundaneness of other Hong Kong movies and throws in a subtle jab into the absurdity of Asian mass media and the audience's need to be fed with its subduing information. The prime complain is the unbelievably bad choice of lead cast that consists of mainly pop singer idols, not proper actors or actresses. Ultimately, it is the supporting cast that saves this movie in the acting department and the sleek, cutting edge and invigorating direction and script that wins through.

Johnny To, the 2000ies genious in the art of directing, as De Palma was in the 80ies and Woo in the 90ties. The mane argument to make of this film one of the happy few wich should be shown in all schools is the first sequence, unforgetable

Meh. Richie Ren trying to play an intriguingly mysterious but flirty criminal mastermind fell flat. Kelly Chan was just too glacial to make it work either. Simon Lam's cameo was just WASTED.

The plot is too typical. Kelly Chan's acting seems awkward and unreal.
