People sure fall in love quickly in the movies. Now I know why I've never heard of this one before. Pretty lame.

I am shocked that this movie as surivived the pass of time and hasn't been destroyed. It has completely to do that it stars a young Cary Grant. Very little story and the movie runs barely over in hour. Crap.

Even by standards of Depression melodramas, this banal woman's picture, about a single mom forced to give up her son to guardian parents, further suffers from a weak perfromance by Cary Grant and unconvincing one from Loretta Young.

Not the best acting, but a very interesting and strong story with Loretta Young and Cary Grant before either of them got really big. it's pretty well done, and i thought it was pretty interesting and fairly well done.
