This is the story of 1970s African-American action legend Black Dynamite. The Man killed his brother, pumped heroin into local orphanages, and flooded the ghetto with adulterated malt liquor. A collection of some of the best one-liners I've heard in a single film. It perfectly captures the mood and feel of the movies it spoofs, it looks amazing (platforms and pimp suits) and the soundtrack is terrific. Chuck in the intentional mistakes and cast-replacement mid-scene and ye've got a movie everyone will be quoting for years. Criminally under-exposed. "HAHA! I threw that shit before I walked in the room!"

DYNAMITE, DYNAMITE!!! "Black Dynamite" is an excellent 70s blaxploitation spoof that packs in the laughs as well as the fun. Michael Jai White ("The Dark Knight") is hysterical as Black Dynamite, a brotha' who you do not mess with. He goes on a mission to avenge his brother's death and stop the selling of smack to orphans. Yes, it's as ludicrous as it sounds. The film rolls on with cheesy dialouge, horrific camera work, bad acting, dumb action scenes, and just overall horrible filmmaking, which perfectly fits its bill of creating a wonderful spoof of the 70s blaxploitation movies. For most of the film, I found myself with a big, goofy grin on my face. Now, I really didn't laugh out loud for most of this movie, but this was a largely entertaining movie. I can't give this anymore than a B just because its not A material, and it never pretends to be. Overall, thiis is just a stupid but hugely fun spoof that will entertain the whole way through.

This movie, like The Big Lebowski, is a film I've seen countless times. Every single time I see it it gets infinitely funnier. Dynamite! Dynamite! What an expert take on blaxsplotation. Not too much needs to be said about this film other than Michael Jai White fits the role perfectly. See it if you have a soul.

Awesome throwback to the blaxploitation days with a dash of Bruce Lee-esque kungfu for good measure (and a very short nunchuck-wielding Tricky Dick!). Black Dynamite's my chocolate rain!
