Leonard Hoffman is an insurance salesman struggling to make ends meet. The fact that he has triplet sons who all want to go to Yale isn't making things any easier. Blanche Rickey is also worried about money; her husband is a millionaire with a weak heart, and she worries that he'll blow through all his cash before he finally dies. When Blanche meets Leonard, she devises a murderous plan that she claims will fix both their problems.

One of my all time favorites. Some people complain about the way it kind of juggles the multiple characters and stories, but the way it gracefully ties every plot line together borders genius. No stone is left unturned in this clever, witty, and simply hilarious movie. If you want to a Guy Ritchie style film with Chuck Palahniuk type narration and dialogue then this is the film for you. You won't get enough of this one.

I went into Big Trouble with exceedingly low expectations and was pleasantly surprised...Much of what makes the film so unexpectedly endearing is that Falk's incorrigible drifter seems motivated less by greed than by a boyish spirit of adventure gone horribly awry.

With a cast of characters so large that Robert Altman would feel at home, Big Trouble manages to do a lot of clever little things and generate quite a few big laughs without wearing out its welcome.
