A very hilarious movie, the movie is like a cross between tremors and Ghostbusters if it was a comedy I very much enjoyed it. The chemistry between the two guys was almost untouchable like it could carry it's own and it hilarious. These guys definitely have their own comedy style that works very well with the main characters.

When I first saw this trailer I thought I should check it out. Looked like B-movie fun. But when I finally got the chance to get the movie I checked out the score on IMDB and the disappointing score made me doubt. But I decided to go ahead anyway. I am glad I did. It fulfilled my first impression and expectation as a very fun B-movie. You get exactly what the title says packaged in a fun and action packed frame. Sure some of the special effects are in some places really bad but it never impacts the fun of the movie. I sure was entertained for the 85 minutes. There are better movies out there (Tremors) but also way worse movies.

Similar to something like Sharktopus, Big Ass Spider uses what little it has within its very small budget and makes the most of it. Though it's still only for the b movie enthusiast there's enough energy on screen and affection for the genre to keep it well above the standards set by SyFy and Asylum.

This is a fantastic, fun, whacky comedy that doesn't hold back. Greg and Lombardo have great chemistry that works well to deliver constant hilarity. The cinematography and the effects were fantastic. Really enjoyed this flick!

Mike Mendez's shamelessly Corman-esque Big Ass Spider! does almost everything just a tiny bit better than it needs to.
