When Sara takes Beethoven to spend summer vacation with wacky Uncle Freddie in an old mining town, the mischievous canine "digs up" the missing clue to a legendary hidden fortune of Rita and Moe Selig. Now everybody wants to be the dog's best friend as his discovery unleashes a frenzy of treasure hunting among the community's cast of kooky creatures. With help from Uncle Freddie and Garrett (a friend or maybe more), Sara and Beethoven try to help uncover a secret that has been in the crazy little town for years.

one of the best of the beethoven's films

A ho-him addition to the 'Beethoven' series that will challenge most to keep their attention where it should be, even though Faith Ford does her best with the two cute principal kids by her side. Some gross-out humour might keep youngsters amused, but adults will howl over this laboured sequel.

How many freakin' Beethoven movies are there?

This one actually surprised me a little bit, but it was still unnecessary and stupid like the other sequels. Some of the characters were annoying, the acting wasn't very good, and the jokes still failed to make me laugh, but this time we actually get a different story and at times I was interested in what was going on. So when it ended, I didn't end up hating this as much as the last film, but at this point Hollywood really should stop with these films.

Tried and tested forumla that feels too worn, sadly it seems we'll have to wait for the 9th until these movies conclude.
