Beautiful People (2009)

Alfredo and Susanna are two well-off fifty-year-olds who lead a stimulating cultural life. He is an architect and she is a psychologist; they live in Rome but spend their weekends at their country home in Umbria, where they love to spend their days walking in the forests or relaxing poolside with a good book. One day, as she goes into town, Susanna sees a girl prostituting herself in the bushes on the side of the road and decides to save her from her unhappy existence, despite the enormous differences that separate their ways of life.

Una de las pelÃculas mÃ¡s encantadoras que he visto. El cartel no tiene mucho que ver con el contenido. Hay que verla. Impresionante

This is one of my favourite films dark and hopefull all at once with a deep vein of spirituality and humour running through it. I purchasd this film after viewing it.

A dark horse British film about multi-culturalism. It shouldn't work half as well as it does simply because it covers too much ground. However, it is the conviction and honesty of the film that carries it. Excellent.

From Balkan refugees to unexpected pregnancies, from unwanted boyfriends to unwanted legs, these ordinary people find their lives are inexplicably entwined. The outstanding ensemble cast includes Julian Firth, Danny Nussbaum, Charlotte Coleman, Steve Sweeney, Rosalind Ayres and Edward Jewesbury.
