When carrying out a hit, assassin Joe always makes use of the knowledge of the local population. On arriving in Bangkok, Joe meets street kid Kong and he becomes his primary aide. As far as remakes of Pang brothers go, this is pretty superior to the remake of their movie "The Eye" (namely because Tom Cruise's Cruise/Wagner was involved). It is also better than the crappy "The Messengers" movie. Nicholas Cage has picked a series of unusual roles. Sure, the pang brothers were involved in the remake of their own film, but that doesn't mean it'll be that great. The movie was cool, great action sequences but the movie lacked some of the charisma of the original.

i really enjoyed this even though i know its a remake of an older film. i thought it was pretty cool. i guess i just have a thing for the hit man culture and stuff you kinda wonder how can you even get started in that type of business anyway. honestly with my loner lifestyle and disregard for human beings would be the perfect job that an engineering and carpentry. anyways fantastic action i enjoyed the 4 philosophies he laid out. Thailand is beautiful loved the elephants. now the ladies heyyyy hot hot hot. i definitely would have to say the deaf lady was the most attractive. i dunno just shes different and it works instead of the ya know slutty stereotypical Asian chic. she has more depth and is just beautiful on the inside and out at least the character portrayal which make sense why he ended up into her. but hey whatever anyways pretty good film give it a go.
