The film tackles some heavy subject matter and does so in a way that rings true. Emotionally raw while being fun at the same time, Band Aid is a lovely film that explores marital problems in an original way.

Band Aid works well as an indie film, short and sharp with redeeming attributes.

A marriage, a miscarriage, and so much more. Anger, angst, conflict, all turned into the source for musical creation. A band becomes a vehicle of healing for a couple struggling with failed dreams and lost hope. But, in the midst of finding themselves, they find understanding and they find again each other.

Band Aid [hits] so many right notes any false ones it might inadvertently strike are lost in a symphony of reflective magnificence I could listen to for days on end with no hesitation whatsoever.

A clever and heartfelt comedy-drama that remains aloft as long as it retains its sense of humor; when the going gets serious, the dialogue turns therapeutic and heavy. Still, it’s a decent debut and an ambitious attempt to juggle tones.
