Be prepared for the second half to drag, and don't go for the music, it is nothing to write home about, but if you've been waiting for a good mindless "masala" film, this may be the one for you.

The usual tropes of masala movies like the spunky music and the slick clothes etc add no value to this movie. What does make sense is the fact that it takes run of the mill romance and turns it into a quirky and very entertaining experience.

A simple and predictable story but its diabetic, mushy tricks work. The leads are charming and their chemistry allows them to pull-off many gimmicky sequences with aplomb. Good entertainment and some well needed social messages too. It also helps that the director avoids the usual story arcs around the parental opposition.
