A classic of 70's TV movies. I don't think I fully bought Ronnie's descent into madness, as it seemed to happen quite fast, but it's still effectively creepy in that "it could happen in MY neighbourhood" way. And it's only 74 minutes long!

A bit twisted. An awkward teen accidentally kills a girl and is hidden in a secret room by his mom. When his mom suddenly dies, he stays in the room and spies on the new family that moves in and raids their refrigerator.

In the movie, Ronald wasn't bad, he was just terribly stupid. In the book, he was a rapist & very bad. A creepy, 70's made-for-tv movie.

It's hard to like a movie where the "villian" is just a misunderstood loner and the douchebags are the "heroes" of the film.
