Imagine walking down the street and finding an unmarked VHS tape. Curiosity piqued, you take it home and pop it in. If you are having second thoughts about watching this movie it s probably a good idea that you don't watch this. August Underground is the most disturbing movie I have ever seen. If you are not a die hard horror fan then this is probably not for you. I did like the way this was directed and it felt very real because of the way it was shot. I liked Fred Vogel and I think that he portrays a serial killer well.

Wow! This is the only way to describe the most shockingly cloying movie...dare I say ever? Everything a great horror movie needs...blood, drugs and sex, BUT proceed with caution! It takes a unique type of person with a strong stomach, and open mind to appreciate. Remember folks, it's only a movie, right!?!?!?!

All those with weak stomachs and/or are offended easily.. STAY AWAY. Awful film which manages to hold a horrific realism that is most certainly not for the faint of heart. Same goes for the 2 sequels. Does not shy away for one second.
