arq is an inde sci-fi film made by the one and only netflix. This film imo is great it stars robbie amell and rachel taylor who were fantastic in this film the story is lackluster youve seen it before like in (groundhog day )(live die repeat )(source code) ai think it is as good as any of those 3 films just with a bit of a lower budget but overall the films worth a watch

Good concept done in low budget. I would recommend it to scifi fans and suckers for time travel or science films. You have to accept that it is essentially an indie budget/level film but is held up well by a decent cast and solid execution. It's one fatal flaw is a plot point brought up in the third act that is highly intriguing... And then immediately dropped for good. It's too bad as addressing it could have added a great amount of detail to an already interesting setting. Overall if you enjoy scifi and and can overlook a limited budget, well worth a watch. 4 stars for what it is, 2 stars to someone not already a sci-fi fan

I liked this. Really good performances by Robbie Amell and Rachael Taylor. Very self-contained storyline, unlike other movies in the "time loop" genre (which isn't very large, of course, but has a few notables). There isn't a tidy pay-off at the end, so don't go in expecting one. Just enjoy the ride.

The writing is ok, the gore is cool and the action is alright. But because this is a movie that loops you're already burnt out before the end comes and still they don't move forward thus leaving an open ending. While Edge Of Tomorrow did this better both movies decided to move backwards instead of forwards and while that movie showed why going back for a good ending is bad this shows why going back for a bad ending is also bad. Simply put, just move forward.
