This is one of the better movies I've seen this year and I wasn't really expecting much out of it. I thought it'd be somewhat similar to 3:10 to Yuma but it wasn't really not that it's bad that it wasn't as I enjoyed it as well. Ed Harris, directing and acting, did a great job in this movie as did Viggo. I'd say it's worth a buy on DVD.

A well-made western. This one had an authentic feel to it. Basically, it's a story about friendship. Two guy who have been riding together for years arrive at Appaloosa to be hired to clean up the town. Good acting. I wondered why they picked Zellweger when more attractive actresses are available. But she did well as the opportunistic little bitch she played.
