I wanted to like this movie, it started out ok and the cast is excellent (for some reason I though Natasha Lyonne was dead so glad she's not...also did not recognize Meg Tilly at first at all!) but it lost me toward the end...was this about aliens or drugs..?? I guess both...? It was the kind of ending that left you like "wtf that's it..??"

What keeps our attention is Lyonne's fierce performance as the bong-smoking, booze-swilling woman dealing with an alien invasion going on inside her body.

A kind of delirious mess. There's some trippiness to this, mostly scenes involving these dancing children's furries (the one with them in the pizza place set to that song, is almost Lynchian). But not much matters in this, and most of it is forgettable been there done that. It also has nice main performances from Natasha Lyonne and Chloe Sevigny.

I love this movie, it is absurd, humorous and just downright gross. It was like an LSD trip (so I was told). Natasha Lyonne is such an amazing actress, I am frequently floored by the roles she masters. I enjoy dark, over the edge comedy, so this is a no brainer for me. Go ahead, try and shock me.
