This movie was too cliche & predictable, not to mention there were too many characters left undeveloped. You never find our where the monster/animal came from, the entire movie is just gruesome shots of this corny animal ripping the characters guts open. Also many stupid and unnecessary deaths. Ending is dissapointing and not delivered well although it is a cliche horror movie. Saving grace was Liz Gilles, because she is an amazing actress in everything else she does.

It wasn't great, but it wasn't horrible. The cast, on the other hand, is the only promising thing the film has to offer. The plot had no foundation, and the ending wasn't much of a surprise either. I feel that a sequel would have to be made in order to make up for the gaps, but I wouldn't count on it being any better than this.

Animal is a cliche mess of a movie with a predictable script, terrible acting and an unexplained monster that has no backstory or anything it's just there

La verdad no esperaba mucho y me terminó sorprendiendo. Animal es un filme realmente entretenido para un rato aburrido, cuenta con actuaciones que si bien no son oscareables, se podría decir que son buenas, el ritmo de la película tampoco está nada despreciable, puesto que su duración (agregando que no es muy larga) se te pasa de volada. Tiene algunos detalles con el guión (de ahí que no tenga las 5 estrellas), pero muy recomendable!

A touch above the miscellaneous horror clutter out there, but it still falls short of being a 'good' movie. There isn't much that's original about this one, and the twists and turns are dull and predictable, as is the ending. A good way to kill some time if you're a horror lover, but don't expect much out of this one.
