And Then Came Lola (2009)

A talented, but distracted photographer, Lola, on the verge of success in both love and work, could lose it all if she doesn't make it to a crucial meeting on time. But, as usual, Lola is late. With her job and girlfriend on the line, she has three chances to make it right. In a desperate race through the streets and back rooms of San Francisco, time grows short-will Lola make it? Will she come at all? With a pop sensibility that mixes live action, animation and still photography, And Then Came Lola explores love's age old question in a fresh new way, "If you try, try again, will you finally get it right?" (Written by M. Siler and E.

Imagine Run Lola Run with lesbians. Sounds great. Sadly, much worse. It's hard, very hard, not to like a film about lesbians, but this insists on doing things that are painfully stupid and beyond believable to setup the story. It's as if listening to a kid tell a prolonged story how the dog ate the homework. On top of that, they steal the style of Run Lola Run like a film student making a film for class. So the story not only is painfully boring but repetitive with only less than naked, TV style lesbian sex to break the tedium. Fortunately, the cartoon animation and some insightful points rescue it from being recycled as a dog bowl.

terrible acting and a bad script makes this unwatchable. Shame because the directors really know what they are doing

Worth watching! Loved the animation throughout as well... Reminds me of someone ;-)

Finally a fun and sexy lesbian film that doesn't end in depression or death. It's light, it's fun...clever and the actors can actually act (always a plus). Everyone it seems is lesbian or gay in Lola's world. I thought the lead, Ashleigh Sumner was really great, as was Jill Bennett who played her girlfriend. They have some steamy scenes throughout the film, so what's not to like?

Sort of a Ground Hog day theme but with really hot girls.
