very serious violence in this mexican drama

One of my all time favorites. Olmos rocks in this film. A story of adversity and beating the odds through self-determination and cultural empowerment.

Ever notice how American Me and Blood In, Blood out follow almost the exact same storyline, and both claim to start the Mexican mafia, but they both are in different prisons ?
