Excellent underrated Frank Capra picture. So many stylistic trends discovered here. Strong Capra themes.

Nicely shot, but the quick fast dialog and the creepy guy with the eyebrows who betrays Huston, really ruined the film. Other than that it had potential for a cool intrigue film. The ending fell flat. I liked the cinematography, nice way to capture an almost noir style. Not one of Capra's best, but definitely worth having in the collection to see the evolution of Capra's films. It was good representation of the America's obsession with money, a topic that is just as relevant today as it was then.

An excellent Capra film with some very interesting and well written characters brought to life by some fine actors, Walter Huston and Pat O'Brien in particular.

De las primeras pelÃculas conocidas de Capra y todo un borrador de porquÃ© era un maravilloso director (aparte de ser la base de "Que Bello es vivir")... geniales escenas de masas, grandes diÃ¡logos, lo bueno del ser humano... sinceramente merece la pena darle un vistazo. La ediciÃ³n en DVD ademÃ¡s merece la pena para tratarse de una pelÃcula menor...
