American Crude (2008)

Quite a bit can happen over the course of a single day in L.A., and when smooth-talking scam artist Johnny decides to throw a bachelor party for his best friend Bill the events of the day take a bizarre turn. As the festivities get underway, the appearance of a transvestite prostitute, a trigger-happy ex-con, and a notorious porn king signal that this isn't going to be a typical night out.

An interesting film with a LOT going on. The problem is, everybody in this entire film is sick. There are no characters to love, not even ones you love for being bad. It does have some interesting story lines but it isn't entirely satisfying. Not a bad flick to watch once but not one I will watch over again. The end, however, was quite satisfying and unique.

About fifteen minutes into it, I had to remind myself what I rented it. What kind of world are we living in when a guy can't rent a Ron Livingston flick and be entertained?

so so kinda lame comedy. the cast is alright, but the script isn't stellar and the plots a little weak. gets a whole extra star for john c though

This wasn't half as funny as I expected it to be, but it almost reached the mark of how twisted the back of the case said it would be; almost.
