Prince is interesting in the stories he tells from his travels, but film is relentlessly talk (basically an extended interview over drinks with friends).

Scorsese is a favorite of mine but this is a snoozer. Steven Prince tells stories that are semi-entertaining but you almost wish it was via a phone call or in person instead of on film.

Really cool early Scorsese work. There are two monologues in this film that were stolen and used for subsequent films by other directors: one is the drug overdose story taken by Quentin Tarantino for "Pulp Fiction". The other is the man with a knife story taken by Richard Linklater for "Waking Life". If you can get your hands on a copy, this is definitely worth a watch.
