Its a very good movie. Even do I like the 2011 version of the chipmunks I think its swell :)

Better than Alvin and the Chipmunks meet Frankenstein. It takes things much more seriously and its obvious from the writing that someone did their homework. There are so many inside references to the classic chipmunks and Lon Chaney Wolf Man. The mushroom cloud gag is also well done.

PLOT: Alvin is struggling with nightmares due to all the scary monster films he has been watching. When a new neighbor moves in next door to David and the Chipmunks, Alvin suspects the neighbor is a werewolf. Unfortunately, the real werewolf is much closer to Alvin then he thinks. CAST: ALVIN â?? Rambunctious, sarcastic, and lovable THEODORE â?? Cute, well-mannered, adorable SIMON â?? Smart, stern, and the lovable scientist COMICAL MOMENTS: There are is awesome humor throughout the entire film. It has slapstick, word puns, and movie references! OVERALL: Although this is not â??The Chipmunk Adventureâ?? movie, it is still lovable. The Chipmunks are addicting while David Seville can often be heard yelling his infamous catch-phrase, â??ALVINNNN!!â?? I also enjoyed the Chipmunks vocals! They definitely reminded me of â??Witch Doctorâ??!
