Great acting and character development. I didnt want it to end

All Summers End works partially because of its heavy subject matter, but falls flat in good performances and predictable writing.

"All Summers End" is handled with such a heavy hand and unfocused direction that the good things about it drown in melodrama. It uses a nostalgic narrative to cheer on young love. I didn't buy it. The one good thing in this movie is Tye Sheridan. He is such an appealing and talented young actor that he almost makes you forgive the films many flaws. He continuously out-classes the proceedings.

Not merely a small film, but one with significant script problems, including a tendency to sermonize. It does, however, offer the opportunity to watch some fine young actors do excellent work.

One of the rawest, endearing, and real movies I've even gotten the pleasure to watch. 10/10 would watch.
