This is a great lesbian film absolutely loved the story of the girls groinw up and discovering themselves. Loved Leisha Hailey in this movie.

Alex and Sylvia Sichel have taken a familiar coming-of-age story, something that might work as an Afterschool Special, and given it the contour, grit and white-hot energy of something much more.

The quintessential lesbian film for lesbians/non-lesbians alike! This film explores the dynamics between two long-time friends homely, gentle Claude and self-destructive, vunerable Ellen, and the complexities of growing up and dealing with evolving relationships. Awesome Riot-Grrl soundtrack. This film reaks of 90s indie, but it's all good.

Rated R for language and drug content. Also contains PG-13 rated sexuality and an off-screen murder. More to come

Leisha Hailey with pink hair and a baby blue guitar... drugs, sex, sexuality, and a story about friends and the paths they take. A great movie from the 90's.
