[It takes] on not only a classic piece of literature but also one of the most iconic films in the history of moviemaking, a challenge that debut feature writer-director Hugh Gross simply doesn't have the resources or imagination to match.

The story is a compelling and creative one. Cinematography was beautiful and the primary cast was excellent, especially Jermel Nakia and Jordan Van Vranken. The scene in the library and their dialogue was heartfelt and moving.
