Peter Sellers was in a lot of films that basically wasted his talents. Like these three here. Or maybe I'm thinking too much of him. Dunno. Kate Beckinsale is a person who I had no idea what she looked like. I just saw her name in the opening credits of Golden Bowl and somehow automatically assumed that she's the one in the leading role. So throughout the film i kept thinking: "man, this kate beckinsale, she looks a lot like uma thurman". at one point I remember even speculating how she would've done in kill bill, and came to the conclusion that she didn't have what it took. not enough edge for it, i suppose. she was too cute. ...so naturally i felt like an ass when i saw uma thurman in the end credits.

Peter Sellers, Neil Simon (script), and Burt Bacharach (music) at the height of their powers. It's worth it for the title song alone, by Sellers and the Hollies! Victor Mature is a good sport spoofing a "mature" actor. And young Britt Ekland is lovely. Really cleverly written (it's a zany caper, with hints of Bowfinger and State & Main), and Sellers was a true genius. Mike Myers is the only current actor who comes remotely close.

One of the most underrated Peter Sellers movies I've ever seen. Simply hilarious.

Great lesser known Peter Sellers movie. He's in his prime, with a great character and a great supporting cast. This movie deserves to be up there with the pink panther, all of the good ones (aka, the ones he was in).

sellers wasted in a one joke farce. better then people will have you believe but in the end its a film that is not allowing sellers to explode. amusing jokes but they are too and far between. sadly this is another sellers comedy that is only above par
