Great acting by both Poitier and Curtis... the story is great and is carried out well - when you have Stanley Kramer behind the camera you know something like this is going to come out as something to be remembered once you see it

A great movie about two men who are forced to work together and as a result triumph over their racial prejudices. The chemistry between Tony Curtis and Sidney Poitier really drives the film. (First and only viewing - 5/9/2010)

Poitier and Curtis play two racially charged convicts shackled to each other. Will they kill each other or learn to look past color to survive? Great ending.
