Adult Beginners (2014)

A young, hipster entrepreneur crashes and burns on the eve of his company's big launch. Wasn't expecting much, just an easy watch for a lazy Saturday. That's what I got. Everyone, and everything from script to chemistry seemed to run at 65%. So, not great but not terrible either. 3 stars because it entertained and didn't suck.

Adult Beginners has a casual, comfortable, low-budget authenticity, though it loses some of its edge near the end with some overly predictable and familiar resolutions.

Kroll takes a swing and serio-comedy here and it totally works. Though this film is cliche in the style of most other 'coming of age' movies...it's worth a viewing. See it!
