This movie had so much potential. The Jackass movies are some of the funniest films ever made. There are some good gags in Action Point, but for the most part, it has poor pacing, a poor balance of tone, and a formulaic story that doesn't even work in its own context. 4/10

There are so few laughs in this thing that it’d have been a shame had somebody gotten hurt making us laugh at their pain.

Such a thin plot from some of the Jackass guys would have been completely forgiven, or even blissfully ignored, if the stunts were on par, or at least close to, what we expect from these guys.

This movie was fun and funny. Chock full of Jackass-type behavior on behalf of "broken urethra" Johnny Knoxville, "Action Point" is meant to be touching, adult family-oriented, and funny in an aloof sort of way. It succeeds on all levels. There wasn't much "laugh-out-loud" hilarity, but the movie kept a smile on my face 90% of the time. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
