The scenes feel very choppy and unconfortable to watch, acting is horrible, sound effects very unrealistic. I couldn't relate with any of the characters, the way they think, their decisions are very unrealistic. Singing is great, the energy is very high, if you're into this kind of christian musical movies you might be entertained.

Lovably lighthearted, wildly energetic, musically raptured, and romantically entertaining. A Week Away is both a sweetly soothing and surprisingly soaring experience in the fun department, but above all, it is a moving love story with a meaningful message for moviegoers all around the world.

The kids do what kids do in such syrupy summer camp (PG) romances. There’s a little melodrama, tears, a crisis of faith. At least the adults take a shot at bringing the funny.
