In a temper, Meg, a cynical, overworked TV executive, rants about how the movies she produces lie, making you think dreams can come true, and tries to smash her favorite snow globe. Instead, it hits her on the head and knocks her out. Cute heartwarming Christmas story in the Dickens sort of way. Gives the nice Christmas warm fuzzies, and though cheesy, didn't feel as over-the-top as many others

A kind of It's A Wonderful Life meets The Family Man, but with a little Wizard Of Oz thrown in, and, yes, it is as sappy and sentimental as that sounds. Barely-good-enough performances, so-so direction and off-the-peg characters combine to create an overdose of mediocrity. A waste of time, really.
