Un bol d'air frais des annees 40 ! Ou l'homme et la femme sont toujours telles qu'ils sont aujourd'hui, mais presente ici avec toute la retenue et la finesse de l'epoque. Un classique pour tout les drames US de quartier qui suivirent.

Mankiewicz weaves so many stories of love tempered with realism and experiential change. I was actually riveted to it.

This is one of my favorite Mankiewicz films. I was slightly dissapointed by All About Eve because I felt that the very last scene was unnecessary. Check out Sleuth, Five Fingers and There Was a Crooked Man.
