3 of a Kind (2012)

Victor comes on to Anna like a force of nature. "I'm the man of your dreams," he tells her, but for the next fifteen years of abuse, Victor is really the man of her nightmares. But Victor has his own share of nightmares...nightmares that he nourishes with visits to his wheel-chaired sister Claire. Victor distributes heroin under the backdrop of his glittering casino, working with his Buenos Aires contact and reluctant business partner, Giovanni, whom he visits frequently. Since Victor wants to control his wife, he has Michael watch her while he's away. But things get really juicy when Michael and Anna become more than just friends. As Victor catches wind of their torrid affair, he orders his hired femme fatale Christina to kill Anna. Now Anna must face the biggest challenge of her life and play the game, or die trying.

Filmed entirely in Idaho, '3 of a Kind' is a tense psychological thriller. It's a young, talented cast with breakout performances from the heroine played by Jodi Russell and the femme fatale played by Jessica Manuel. It's a riveting storyline that will keep you on the edge of your seat to the twisty climax.

Decent film with a little too much violence for my tastes.

Great film. Very engaging and keeps you interested the whole time. The writing, set design, acting, and effects are not bad for an independent film! Really a great film. Great game of cat and mouse.

A thoughtful and beautifully put together piece of cinematic storytelling. A triumph of independent film making that showcases true talent and skill in a compelling and entertaining viewing experience.

The story line is a twisting target and clearly the characters have their agendas, each one differing from the others. Things are not always what they seem.....
