At the time of seeing this film I was unaware of how amazing the film would be. Watching 1981, it made me laugh, feel sad, and plain happy. This is a film worth watching again and again. I would recommend this film for anyone else to watch and I don't think you would be disappointed.

Vibrante ovation a l'enfance, avec son humour et son imagination. Innocence et naivete, les themes qui sous tendent une intrigue assise sur la structure familiale quebecoise. Un film tres rafraichissant dans lequel il fait bon s'abandonner aux legeretes de notre jeune age. Les souvenirs de Trogi qui m'ont fait rever comme si c'etait les miens.

J'ai ete legerement decue. Malgre quelques flashs nostalgiques amusants, j'ai fini par me desinteresser de l'histoire. C'est beau la nostalgie mais c trop. Je n'ai pas aime le role de la mere qui m'a tape sur les nerfs. Par contre, chapeau au jeune Jean-Carl, enormement de talent le jeune garcon, il passe tres bien a l'ecran.
