There is a heart-warming familiarity to much of its 2 1/2-hour tale, but the surprises around its edges gives Zelary a refreshing perspective.

Foreign, Czech. Great movie! Beautiful sets, beautiful scenery, great acting, quality film and an excellent story. About a lady doctor hiding from the Nazi's during WWII in the hillsides of the Czech Republic. An excellent film and I highly recommend it!!!

As a war drama, Zelary is as gentle and pastoral as its setting. At times, you think it's a new chapter in "The Sound of Music."

Czech cinema is finally getting the recognition it deserves! This film is perfect in every way. This is the way 'Cold Mountain' should have turned out...
