The fight scenes weren't as complete as I expected them to be from Takashi Miike, and I know for a fact that he can produce much more "bad-ass" into any piece of film, and think he should have tried just a little bit harder on this one...but other than that this film was awesome and nothing less. Unique story, even with all the other "wanna-be superhero" films that have been coming out lately. Takashi Miike is and always will be a master of Cinema, even with a budget worth no more than a few peanuts. The epic ending gives this film an extra .5 star by itself.

Not hilarious, but really funny in places, and of course totally original as always from Miike

You can't say no to a movie with Sho Aikawa in a superheroe outfit fighting aliens, tokosatsu-style. Some pacing issues keep this from being better, neverless, good ol fun. Zebra-nurse was hot.

This was really good. Kinda like "Batman Begins" meets "Unbreakable" meets "The Power Rangers".
