This is a Scrabble documentary following several tournament players, some of who you will see in the other Scrabble documentary, Scrabylon, and some you will read about in Word Freak. As a documentary, this gives a really good like inside the weird world of Scrabble players and even lets us into some of the top players hoems to see how they live. I'm a Scrabble nut, so i'm biased. But watch it anyway.

A doco about competitive scrabble players. What a thrill. The surprising thing is that is actually is. The viewing finds themselves easily drawn into the lives of these unusual people, and the Scrabble games are enough to keep you on the edge of your seat - especially when a bad rack is drawn. Skillfully edited into a very exciting piece of cinema, I could've stood to keep watching past the short running time. Highly recommended

fine-some interesting characters but mostly forgettable

although this doc did not have the same compelling drama as spellbound and king of kong, i thought that the characters chosen by the filmmakers could not have been better. this is an obsessive comedy that i love as both a scrabble enthusiast and as a documentary lover.
