Although meant to be an indie cross between drama and screwball comedy, Why Stop Now disappoints with its complete absence of laughs and inconsistent tone. Eisenberg's frantic performance is the film's single best asset. Tracy Morgan, on the other hand, seems completely uninterested.

This movie is bad for your blood pressure. Not only are the characters constantly annoyed and shouting at each other, you as a viewer will be increasingly annoyed with the movie for wasting what could have been a nice evening.

A real gem of a movie. Laughed like crazy when Eli acts as the translator between his mom's drug supplier and a Mexican supplier. Jesse Eisenberg is perfect as ever. You could see things were going to get worse and worse like a snowball picking up snow as it goes downhill.

It could have been great, but only turned out ok. The directors seemed to miss the chance to build the intensity which this kind of plot could achieve, but then maybe that's the intention. Melissa Leo was great, and of course Jesse Eisenberg was nerdily good too.

This may not have been a terrific film, but Jesse Eisenberg once again proves that he's a very fine actor no matter the setting. Tracy Morgan was funny as always playing an inept and awkward drug dealer, and, unfortunately, Melissa Leo makes any movie just a little bit worse. It was very frustrating to watch at times, as it was often a comedy of errors, but that is a certain level of success in my book. All in all, slightly above adequate on a couple good performances.
