Andersson's boatyard remains after 25 years, still chased by the same stringent, but misfortuned debt collector. TV producer Vonna Jigert wants Andersson to compete against an Italian company and their boat Fortuna in a race on Göta Kanal – live on TV. The race is broadcasted as a reality show. Same gangly canoer like 25 years ago also has a canoeing vacation on the canal when the race starts.

I actually enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Probably all the nostalgia from seeing the first movie thousands of times as a kid. Liked Lena Endre, she took her part and ran with it :)

Fantastic script with hilarious scenes where people fall into the water X-) Amazing f/x. Actors performing way above Oscar level. Best swedish movie ever?

It delivers all you can ask for - predictable script, mediocre acting, loveable characters, recognizable situations, and some really good laughs.

When swedish film makers have too much time and money on their hands they make lousy sequels, this time to a movie that wasn't that fantastic in first place. A movie this bad with Kjell Bergqvist, Peter Haber and Lena Endre can't be this bad, or can it?
