Where the Skin Lies (2017)

Six people bound together by a traumatic experience decide to round off a year of group therapy in style. They join each other once more, traveling up to the Scottish Lowlands for a reunion weekend in a 1970s holiday let. Soon a number of mysterious and horrifying events start to expose the cracks in their relationships, and one by one they discover that trust runs but skin-deep. A night of closure turns out to be far more final than they could have anticipated.

Absolutely terrible. The acting is the scariest part of the movie. Hard to take the movie seriously, and many of the characters are annoying. Interesting concept, but none of it every makes any sense, don't waste your time

There's a sound idea at the heart of Where the Skin Lies, but sadly the characters make too many leaps of logic and the audience is left a little confused as to how they've arrived at their conclusions.

Once you get over a couple of plot holes at the start you learn to really love this low budget thriller. Really unique concept that keeps you guessing who will win and who will lose. Good fun
