highly interesting look into the lives and society of middle east/muslim countries. it's a bit loosely put together so it skips around a bit without much meaning, but as far as the content goes, it's very interesting

I had no subtitles for the arabic conversations so missed a lot but it was interesting to see that the most hostility they encountered was from the orthodox jews.

I would stay home with my wife while she's pregnant... that's why I deducted one star.

your world is not everyone's world. Learn to respect others or at least to accept the differences.......................as it often repeats in the movie that American people is nice but not American government, however, people make up the government, isn't it? Kind of oxymoron..

This movie was great! In his usual affable style, Morgan Spurlock travels to several countries in the Middle East and Central Asia and talks with people to find out what they think of America and where Osama bin Laden is. Everyone in the Arab world and Afghanistan/Pakistan welcomed him with open arms--the only problem he had was in the Orthodox Jewish section of Israel, he was yelled at, pushed and shoved out of the area just for asking a few questions. After completing his tour of the Middle East, he walked away with many of us who know and love the Arab and Central Asian world already know--everyone wants the same thing, safety, security and happiness for their families; we're not that different. Good movie!! ((oh, and in the plot synopsis above, it's not "Arabic" people...it's Arab people; not sure who wrote that description??))
