this is dubbing at its ultimate best usage. woody allen should've did the dubbing scripts for Godzilla. it was a japanese James Bond rippoff that got in the hands of AIP, who decided Woody should write it. as he explains in the prologue, he made it into a comedy "where they were formerly raping and looting and killing one another." the result is obviously people saying one thing and acting another; which is what makes it so hillarious. see this!

Classic early Woody Allen and the predecessor to the far inferior Kung Pow: Enter the Fist.

Hysterical! I laughed so hard I cried at so many moments in this romp. This is the funniest film that came out of the '60s - other than "The Magic Christian" - because it was so creative and must've been great fun to make. Even though Woody Allen didn't film it, a Japanese production company did...allowing Allen and some other comedians to find it and completely re-dub it! The characters, once serious spies in its original format, become ridiculous spies seeking out a recipe for egg salad that could grant them ownership of a hidden, non-existent country! My favorite line is "He said his mustache...was going to eat my beard!"

The film that introduced the mix received comic sensability that Woody Allen Created. A movie that is so stupid its funny.

If you have ever wondered where my sense of humor developed from, this is 50% of it. ("It's Wang Fool, you fat! I mean Wang Fat, you fool!") Also, for those present with me in Greece, my Heinrich Schliemann impersonation is a direct rip from this movie. If you can find a rare copy, enjoy.
