I've seen alot of documentaries about the american food industries, and I always struggle sharing the things I learn with my family because mainstream media encourages us to eat meat and dairy (like in the got milk campaign). There's always questions about getting all the nutrients, protein, and strong bones one would need on a plant based diet. This documentary presents all the answers to those questions in one place, and does so in an entertaining and visually striking way. I also love that it isn't heavy on the gory shots like Cowspiracy or Food Inc. Not only do I think everyone should watch this, but I believe we need to assess the way our medical industry works.

What the Health has clearly swept up a nation of celebrities and transformed people into vegans overnight. Don't be fooled though. This documentary completely cherry picks whatever studies fit their propaganda while proclaiming studies and beliefs/theories as certified facts. It drags politics and race into their arguments and somehow tries to get away with declaring eggs and meat to be as cancerous as cigarettes.Beyond that, the film tries to promote plant diet in place of life saving medications for physical and mental health. If What the Health offers any substantiated health information, it is completely overshadowed by the ludicrous way it presents its "findings"

A great example of how pervasive bad Science is in our society. Kip calling up the American Cancer society 800 number and asking why they promote beef recipes would be like me calling up the main line of Time Warner Cable and asking them why they fired their VP of finance. How on Earth does this moron use a $10/hr call center worker declining to talk to him about major topics as "evidence" that they are hiding something? Ultimately a poorly made scare tactic commercial for promoting vegetarianism. But fish is okay because, well, you know...fish have less feelings than a chicken.

Kip Andersen and Keegan Kuhn are fomenting a quiet but powerful and thoroughly articulated a revolution against the global scandal of health and disease. I cannot applaud them enough. There have been hundreds of scientific papers and conferences to back their narrative but nobody told the story as clearly. Please also watch the sibling project 'Cowspiracy'.

This reinforced what I already knew, how meat , dairy and careless food habits affects one's health. Very well made.
