In 1999, Internet entrepreneur Josh Harris recruits dozens of young men and women who agree to live in underground apartments for weeks at a time while their every movement is broadcast online. Soon, Harris and his girlfriend embark on their own subterranean adventure, with cameras streaming live footage of their meals, arguments, bedroom activities, and bathroom habits. There is so much about We Live in Public that is mesmerizing, so much that is both shocking in its statement and knowing in its insight, that it's hard to take in at one sitting.

About forty minutes into this I turned it off. I couldn't finish it. It disturbed me too much. I guess there are rewards for those that decide to stick with it, but not for me.

An interesting idea of what it means to live your life in public....but instead of dealing with issues of public and private; its more about exhibitionism and capturing/predicting trends and what is hip....so, in a way, its kind of stupid too---more about the satisfying the ego of this one guy--Josh Harris
