In 1999, Internet entrepreneur Josh Harris recruits dozens of young men and women who agree to live in underground apartments for weeks at a time while their every movement is broadcast online. Soon, Harris and his girlfriend embark on their own subterranean adventure, with cameras streaming live footage of their meals, arguments, bedroom activities, and bathroom habits. This documentary explores the role of technology in our lives, as it charts the fragile nature of dot-com economy.

Truly one of the first great minds of the 21st Century. A thoroughly insightful documentary with brilliant footage and pace. Absolutely saddening to hear of nothing as yet confirmed, but pretty much almost definite demise of a man who may have offered so very much more.

'The more you get to know everyone, the more alone you become.' Giving out our privacy for everybody to own - are we aware of the price we pay for living in public? A mesmerizing film - something every young person (especially the ones addicted to the internet) should see.

as narcissistic and arrogant as Josh Harris seems to be, and as evil and twisted as the Quiet experiment was conceptually, he still deserves to be called a genius. He saw the future of how human interaction would be in the internet age before anyone else did.
