We Live In Public is a powerful documentary that, while discussing this big, fascinating multimedia experiment, comments on how our current computer culture is detrimental to our society and ourselves.

I am reminded of The Matrix. It's facinating, disturbing, and futuristic. No, not the documentary, but Josh Harris, the subject, something of a Hitlerian figure. The documentarian hitched his wagon to potentially the biggest story in the history Mankind... I'm surprised so many liked this. The implications are frightening: One day we will live in public and be assimilated!

If you have any respect for the internet and its roots, this documentary has to be watched! It's long and at some points unbelievable, but it's an important flashback to a time when the internet was an experiment that was both beautiful and completely insane! The only reason I won't give this film a full 6 stars is because I think it was stretched out way too much, but beyond that, it was a work of art in itself.

From the ample evidence, Mr. Harris’s own life in public was a bust. Ms. Timoner sees him as a cautionary tale as well as a visionary.
