A visually psychedelic phantasmagoria that gets incredibly exhausting. I admire the complex artistry at work, but the tedious storyline, characters, and dialogue donâ??t exactly sing to me for its 90 minute run time. Itâ??s weird alright, but setting it in the world of a video game kinda limits its scope and strips away some of the self-professed strangeness for me.

weird, but still quite good. If you think you can handle a lot of weirdness I say watch it. Be warned though, the first half is harder to get through so watch the whole thing and don't flake out half way.

After months of anticipation, I must say that this movie completely fulfilled my expectations... I love it, yet I sympathize with those who hate it. The movies not perfect by any means. Personally, I would have preferred a lot less flashing. However, it's an innovative movie in every sense. It's far more about technique than substance, and therefore, will likely appeal more to artists than anybody. I expect we'll be seeing a lot more mixed-media animations from the many artists this film has inspired.

what an amazing and original film! i mean, half the colouring and effects was done in mario paint! be warned though, you will only appreciate this film if you enjoy the extreme abstract and accept the art for what it is. but everyone should be able to do that; this film is the nuts!
