Best movie I've seen in a long time. It's 4hr epic piece that plays out like a good book. Drama. Violence. Sacrifice. Honor. These are the words I think of when watching this true story played out.

An epic 4 hour journey into the world of the Seediq Bale. I didn't know much about this people but after watching the movie I couldn't read enough about them. This movie is awesome in so many ways and would have gotten a five if it wasn't for a handful of scenes. Part one is a dramatic setup and Part two is an all out war. This is great and you won't leave the tv before it's over.

A good movie that would have been great with a more charismatic 'young' Mouna Rudo and professional effects. The effects are so amateurish, it puts the whole Taiwan industry to shame.

At times, Warriors sacrifices dramatic nuance for scale, but even its most rousing passages are tempered by a sense of loss. Rather than simply enshrining its underdog heroes' efforts, it considers their cost.

A bit violent at the end, but it tells what a tribe can do when they faced years of torture. Who is more uncivilised- a group that wanted to safeguard their land, and a group who invaded? And is that only slashing people with knives is uncivilised, while dropping bombs are more humane? A question for us, people living in 21st century, to think of.
