Vital (2004)

What was the point of this movie is beyond me, sure, Tsukamoto is once more exploring the human mind and body. What he was trying to say with this movie? I have no idea, i can barely remember seeing it. I must be missing something, but even if the movie has a good point about...anything at all, it feels cold and distant regarding the subject.

Good movie. Perhaps not for the average movie goer, but for anyone daring to branch out, it's great... I loved it. Tadanobu Asano delivered as usual.

Amazing direction combined with strong performances make this drama about loss very watchable, sometimes even captivating.

This was a nasty, confusing, and depressing film about a guy with amnesia who remembers a previous lover from finding her on his operation table, ready to have a autopsy. This does have more appealing moments than the usual lost romance fable, and at the least, it's different from a lot of stuff that I've seen. altogether, it's not bad, but a little boring.
