It's not an everyone film. It is a deep thinking film. The silence, echo and then vibrational scenes really get inside your head.

The blue-toned cinematography from Joseph Schweers, who also edited and cowrote Violent, is so varied and adventurous, you have to submit to the film's spectacularly confident storytelling.

There's no doubt Violent is a deep dive of a drama that leaves a chill, but it's also a profoundly beautiful story that teeters on the edge of genius without even trying because it bypasses language and speaks straight to the soul.
